That's a lot of paper!

While organizing the basement I looked at all the paper I'd accumulated. It's a lot of paper and I decided to take a picture of it. It's a mix of different brands of watercolor, bristol board and index card stock.

The DVD's next to the stack are there to give an idea of how much paper there is (if you zoom in you can see some of the movies and shows I like).

Every one of those sheets will end up being drawn and/or painted on.

All that paper!

All. That. Paper.

Just looking at it fills me with a desire to go draw till I drop.

I'm looking at it as a challenge. Seriously, it is a lot of paper. I want to go through it all. One of my favorite artists, Robert Andrew Parker, once said that the joy of being someone like a Picasso was that he (Picasso) could get the best paper and go through it like garbage.

Besides that, if it makes you want to draw do it that's great.

jeannemarie - thanks for the comment.

I'm sure glad you find my works calming. It does me good to read that. After one creates a piece they send it out to the world and hope for the best.

I need to apologize to those who have waited for new stuff. My mother was ill and required our attention. She passed away at the young age of 73. To her I owe my drawing ability, a gift that I am forever grateful for. Needless to say, I wasn't in the mood for painting and drawing.
